March Convention Update:
* All convention committees are up and running at full throttle - the convention is coming fast.
* The headquarters hotel - Crown Plaza - is fully booked.
* The youth band as of 3/10/12 has 36 students registered and is looking to fill at least
24 more slots.
* The hospitality suite, all in the Crown Plaza, look great and are ready to go.
* The convention's opening session flag ceremony will be completed as the colors
are presented by the 174th fighter Wing Base Honor Guard. The honor guard will be
welcomed by 8-10 servicemen from the 174th who recently returned from Iraq and
Afghanistan. We will be honoring them and saying thank you for their service to our
country and to us.
* There is still time to submit your advertisement for the convention program. The
deadline is April 1, 2012.
- Clubs submitting new advertisements will earn 15% of the value of the ad they
submit.
- An ad form is available on the MD web-site or in your DG's newsletter.
- Submit the ad form with a disc copy of your ad or a business card with
a typed message.
- Full page $375 - ½ page $225 - ¼ page $175 - 1/8 page $100 - supporter $20
