Past International Directors

HOWARD M. CONROY
PAST INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR |
Howard M. Conroy, of Medina, New York, USA,
was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International
Association of Lions Clubs at the association's 70th annual convention,
held in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China, July l987.
Past Director Conroy is a retired engineer and operations manager
for an
aerospace firm. A member of the Medina Lions Club since 1946,
Past Director Conroy has served the association as a club president,
zone chairman, district governor, president of the New York Organization
of Past District Governors and as a board appointee in 1971-72.
A Life Member, Past Director Conroy has received the 100% District
Governor Award, an Extension Award, an Advancement Key Award,
five International President's Awards and the Ambassador of Good
Will Award, the highest honor given by the association to its
members. He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his activities in the association, Past Director
Conroy is involved in numerous community organizations. He is
president and director of the Empire State Speech and Hearing
Clinic, a Boy Scout leader and a past director of the Medina
Chamber of Commerce.
Past Director Conroy and his wife, Sylvia, have two daughters. |
