Past International Directors

DR. JACK WILLIAM WEBER
PAST INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR |
Dr. Jack W. Weber, of Dix Hills, New York, USA, was elected to
serve a
two-year term as a director of The International Association
of Lions Clubs at the
association's 67th International Convention, held in San Francisco,
California,
USA, July 1984.
.
Now retired, Past Director Weber served as a dentist in the United
States Navy,
being discharged at lieutenant senior grade, and then in private
practice in general dentistry until 1983.
A member of the Hicksville, New York Lions Club since 1953, Past
Director
Weber has held several offices, including treasurer, secretary
and president of his club, district governor and president of
the New York Organization of Past
District Governors.
For his numerous contributions to the association, Past Director
Weber has
received five International President's Awards, the 100% District
Governor
Award, the Membership Advancement Key, and the Monarch Award
for 42 years
of perfect attendance, as well as the Ambassador of Good Will
Award, the highest honor given by the association to its members.
He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
An active member of his community, Past Director Weber is a member
of the
Hicksville Chamber of Commerce and Beautification Program and
a recipient of
the Distinguished Service Award from the Kidney Foundation of
New York. His
professional affiliations include the Beta Beta Beta Honorary
Biological Society
and the Omericon Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
Past Director Weber has five children and 11 grandchildren. |
